Proudly supporting ethical franchising
by Lynne Rawlinson

We are delighted to have been successfully re-accredited by the British Franchise Association (BFA) as a Full Member.

BFA full membership is subject to an initial assessment and a rigorous three-year re-accreditation process that required us to provide detailed evidence of sustained trading over a period of time. Any changes to our network was also taken into consideration as well as our trading and financial performance. As part of the process our franchisees were required to answer key questions to the BFA’s satisfaction.

Originally accredited as a full member in 2012, this prestigious status is particularly significant given the difficult trading conditions over the past 18 months.

The British Franchise Association (BFA) is a trade association that promotes ethical franchising within Britain. In order to become a member of the association, franchisors need to demonstrate that their franchise is profitable and transferable and they must have a fair franchise agreement in place along with a substantial operations manual.

Membership of the BFA demonstrates to interested parties, that a franchise is viable and operating fairly and ethically.

Our Co-Founder Matt Levington said “Membership of the BFA has been key in the development of the Business Doctor network, providing us with credibility and ongoing support, not just for us but for our franchisees.”

Business Doctors was founded in 2004 and we have  been proud members of the BFA since 2008.
